On Friday, February 18th the Club hosted a Gardening Workshop for Members and their kids/grandkids. We had about 20 people show up for a walk-through of all the plantings in the Garden from Tim, a bean propagation station with Daniella and a special talk from the head of Slow Food Miami, Donna Reno. As always, if there's an opportunity to do hands on, getting dirty stuff, kids really get a big kick out of it. We even had an impromptu contest to see who could pick the biggest carrot! The kids got a chance to plant our last available space and will get to watch their produce grow over the next couple months.
