Spray Drift

Last season the garden received a lot of praise and attention. How ever we had some concerns about possible contamination from the Golf Course. The Greens Keeping Dept. uses various chemicals to keep our golf course looking great in their daily operation; fungicides and fertilizers and so on. We decided to put up a hedge row to stop possible contamination from accidental spray drift residue. We decided on Eugenia Uniflora ( Surinam Cherry) this plant makes a great hedge row very tall , wide and dense . This hedge along with continued awareness will go a long way towards any possible contamination .
