This past weekend, Tim Rowan submitted 12 plants in 10 inch pots from Deering Bay's Garden in the Urban Oasis Project's Edible Garden Oasis at Jungle Island as part of the South Beach Food & Wine Festival. Urban Oasis Project's goal is to teach families good nutrition and show where food comes from. The plant photos were judged and cash prizes were awarded.
